Where Laser Beats a Blade
With fine wire and multi-core cable, mechanical stripping has a failure mode you cannot design out: the blade either leaves insulation or cuts strands. Laser stripping removes the trade-off. The beam vaporizes the insulation layer, the conductor is never touched, and strip length is set in software rather than by blade depth.
The HW03LS runs 1–30 mm² including sheathed cable with up to 7 cores, cutting 1–99999.99 mm at ±0.002 × L, with a maximum outer diameter of Ø16. It does end stripping, middle (window) stripping and multi-layer stripping — the window strip on a shielded cable is where this machine earns its price.

Does it burn the copper?
No. The laser is tuned to the insulation, which vaporizes at lower energy than the conductor absorbs. Residue is removed by the exhaust.
Can it strip a window in a shielded cable?
Yes — that is the standard middle-strip function, and the main reason buyers choose laser over blades for coax and shielded multi-core.
Is the smoke filter required?
Required in most European workshops for air quality compliance, and strongly recommended with limited ventilation. It is an option, priced with the machine.
